iCloud, the Cloud, Google Cloud.

iCloud, the Cloud, Google Cloud storage, there are too many darn clouds. While choice is nice it is not nice to have so many darn choices that aren’t really choices. If you choose Apple you have to be Apple all the way. If you choose Windows again you have to commit to being all windows or suffer a loss of experience. Why can’t I have a Windows PC, Android phone and an iOS tablet and be able to enjoy the perks and benefits of syncing and cloud storage on all?

As it stands I have to have a Windows phone in order to connect to my windows PC cloud or an Apple iPhone to sync with iCloud on a MAC. These industry leaders are reducing the element of choice down to a simple “Get this and this, Because we told you to” . I don’t like it one bit.
